Incident of the Week
Amazon Is Making It Harder to Even See the Problem
Two conversations this week pointed at the same trend: review removal success rates have slid from the 10-15% range down to 3-10% as Amazon tightens what counts as a violation.
Meanwhile, Seller Central quietly pulled the button that let sellers download their own review data.

What Happened
It’s the platform equivalent of a landlord changing the locks and then hiding the lease. These moves are simply part of Amazon’s ongoing evolution, wherein they continue to reduce the control sellers have over their own affairs.
In this case the lesson for sellers isn’t to panic, it’s to stop assuming Amazon’s dashboard will keep handing you the full picture.
What We Recommend
Track your review and rating trends somewhere outside Seller Central, because the tools you used to lean on are disappearing one at a time.
And consider an ally like eCom Triage. We have the negative review removal system down and are able to stay on top of these changes, while continuing to deliver the best review removal success possible.

For Whom the Bell Tolls
This week I’m turning the spotlight on my own industry.
Black Hats don’t just exist in a handful of places. Criminals looking for a quick buck to steal are pretty much everywhere.
Case in Point
A prospect told us this week about a previous vendor who charged their card, promised to scrub the negative reviews, and delivered nothing but a blocked card and a bad taste.
Paying a company upfront to fix your star rating with no visibility into the process is a lot like handing a mover cash before you’ve seen the truck: sometimes your stuff shows up, sometimes you’re standing in an empty driveway.
Being Proactive
A legitimate operator works on performance, verifies every single removal multiple ways, and only goes after reviews that actually break the platform’s rules, never the ones that are just honestly negative.
If a provider can’t explain exactly what triggers a charge and how they confirm a removal, that’s a problem. You should have that answer before you ever hand over billing info.
At ECom Triage we only charge when the work is done.
See how we can help.
