Riverside records remote guests properly.
Riverside is a browser studio for podcasts and video. Everyone on the call is recorded on their own machine, so the finished file is not a recording of the internet connection.
Record, edit and publish in one place
Everything from the raw capture through to the clip that goes out on social.
Local recording
Up to 4K video and uncompressed audio, captured on each person’s device in separate tracks. A guest on bad wifi does not end up baked into the master.
Editing from the transcript
The text is the timeline. You search, cut, copy and paste in the transcript and the video follows, across multiple tracks.
Clips and transcription
Transcription comes with the recording, and the platform pulls social clips out of a long session so a two-hour interview does not sit there unused.
Live streams and webinars
Stream in full HD to LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and Twitch, or run a webinar with audience Q&A and call-ins, then publish to Spotify, Apple and YouTube.
The audio is the part you cannot fix later
I record a podcast every week, so this is not a theoretical recommendation. The thing that ruins a remote interview is almost never the conversation. It is the guest dropping out for four seconds in the middle of the best answer of the episode, and no amount of editing gets that back.
Recording each side locally fixes that at the source instead of patching it afterwards. The editing and the clips matter too, because the real reason most sellers stop making content is not the recording, it is everything that comes after it. Riverside puts those steps next to each other.
